Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage congratulates the first Sri Lankan Paralympian Medalist Pradeep Sanjaya
Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage who is in London to encourage the Sri Lankan Paralympians congratulated the first Sri Lankan Paralympics medalist, Pradeep Sanjaya, soon after the event, for bringing honour and glory to Sri Lanka, the Ministry of Sports Said.Pradeep Sanjaya won Sri Lanka’s first medal of the London 2012 Paralympics Games in the Men’s 400m T46, ended the event with timing of 49.28 seconds and won the bronze medal. This was also his personal and season's best and also a regional best, the Ministry said.
The Ministry of Sports also added that Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse also congratulated the Sri Lankan Paralympian Bronze Medalist Paradeep Sanjaya over the phone. Jayasri news
